Fluff Entertainment and Corbomite Games Announce “Knights in Shining Armor: our king’s tale”

A new episodic adventure game that will take you on the path of king hood.

Tel-Aviv, Israel – December 15Th 2009 – Fluff Entertainment and Corbomite Games today announce the development of a new point and click adventure game series “Knights in Shining Armor: our king’s tale“. Chapter one is expected to be available in Winter 2010 for PC.

Set in a dark medieval fantasy post war world, the story follows a young Prince Rupert on his way to king hood, through a foreign and hostile land. Arriving by ship on this new continent, Rupert must traverse it alone and reach its capital in order to prove his worth and take his princess. Along the way he encounters strange places and people alike.

Knights in Shining Armor: our king’s tale features high resolution 3d rendered backdrops and classic-style point and click game mechanics. The game lets you explore a new medieval continent, meet its people and guide Rupert trough his journey.

Harmonix recently announced the opening of the Rock Band network to developets and music makers to upload and sell thier song as rock band tracks (http://creators.rockband.com/)

When we heard that Harmonix will release Rock Band Network, our enthusiastic team jumped at the opportunity to get involved in one of our all-time favorite games.  We started making tracks of our own of music from our games, and have been making a few tracks for Israeli bands and independent artists using the Rock Band creation tools that Harmonix has released.

We are looking to make many more songs in the near future, before the Rock Band Network store opens.

Pizza Morgana, a New Comedy Game Series from Corbomite Games Premieres Today

Pizza Morgana is a new comedy that will make you drop your toppings off. It lets you play the charming tale of a young girl who is accidentally teleported into a magical dimension filled with monsters, vampires, faeries, and daemons, which all just happen to be employed as pizza delivery guys.

Pizza Morgana: Episode One – Monsters and Manipulations in The Magical Forest allows you to play through the events that lead to Jackie’s teleportation into the world of TerraMagia and thereafter. This episode introduces Abbie Positive, the pizza delivery vampire that acts as Jackie’s guide through the magical world, and a Watcher, who is a robotic hybrid cop that enforces TerraMagian laws. Enjoy multi-linear game play with hilarious consequences by playing parts of the game as Jackie or as Abbie Positive, the vampire.

Monsters and Manipulations in The Magical Forest also features voice acting by famous Hollywood actors, Mia Alon as Jackie, Claudia Christian as Abbie Positive, and Robin Atkin Downes as the Watcher. Among their many onscreen and in-game appearances, both Claudia Christian and Robin Atkin Downes are Babylon 5 alumni, and veteran voice recording actors in the game industry.

Everyone here at Corbomite Games (And Jackie too) want to wish you Happy Holidays!

An event I’ve been personally involved in organizing along with several other volunteers will happen this Friday, in Israel.

It’s the First Israeli Games Unconference, and I will be showing the audience some sneak peeks of the first episode of Pizza Morgana there.

The unconference is open to the public, so if you want to get to see bits of the game for yourself, I’ll be happy to personally see you there at the event.

After more than a year of working on it, we’re finally proud to announce our new episodic adventure game series:
Pizza Morgana.

Pizza Morgana lets you play the charming tale of a young girl who is accidentally teleported into a magical dimension filled with monsters, vampires, faeries, and daemons, which all just happen to be employed as pizza delivery guys. The game is expected to be available in spring 2009 for PC.

This is truly an exciting day for us here at Corbomite Games and we’ve been waiting for this moment for a while, and soon when the game is released we’ll be even more excited.
